Sneak Peek at Upcoming Electroneum Blockchain Updates

Based on recent updates to Electroneum’s Github repository, it appears that Electroneum is ridding itself of any leftover remnants of its Monero roots and removing any remaining privacy features. The following update visible in a recent commit to their Github repo can be viewed here:

The comment includes,

“In 2021, in order to comply with regulations and remove obstacles to the growth of the project, we migrated away from blockchain privacy with our V10 fork, and opted for a completely transparent and public blockchain.”
